Service

Public Service means just that... "Public Service"!

If a Politician Doesn't Want to Be a Servant... then They Should Get into Another Profession! Real Simple...

Of course (again) The Problem has to do with Perspective and Definition. "In Service" is Not "Servitude". Being a Public Servant is a Very Honorable and Noble Profession... or at least it "Should Be"!

Any Position of Power should "Humble" those in it. It should Bring Out "The Best" in Those Who Seek and Obtain It...

For Some it Does... For Most it Doesn't!

The Reason is that Most People Who Seek Public Office do so with The Intent of Obtaining Power for Powers Sake... or for Obtaining Prestige or Influence... again for It's Own Sake. Rarely do Politicians Seek Office for The Good of The People or for Altruistic Reasons. Sometimes People Seek Office to Promote an Associated Organization or Structured Philosophy... and this is just as Despicable.

Democratic Government means "Of The People ~ For The People ~  By The People". It is The Politician's Role, Function and Responsibility to Carry Out The Will of The People. And When they cannot In Good Conscious do so... It is Their Obligation to Step Down from Their Elected Position.

As Mayor of Cairo... I will do My Best to Represent The Will of The People... and Work for Your Best Interest.

I Consider The Interests of The People and The Interests of The Town to Be One and The Same Thing. We all have Our Own Individual Ideas as How to Get from Point A to Point B... but I Think We All Agree on Generally "Where and What" Point B Should Be (no pun intended).

A Vote for Me... is A Vote for Yourself!

Thanks for Your Support & Vote!
