We not only share the Privileges of Living in this world... we share the responsibilities!

The day has long past when we as Citizens can sit back and let our Government and other Institutions determine our Fate. We each have to become Actively Involved in the Maintenance and Preservation of The World that Sustains Us.

The Time for "Representative" Government is Over. The Systems & Bureaucracies are Just Too Large and Complex. Corporations are Too Powerful. We Desperately Need More "Direct Involvement" from The Citizens of This Country.

Essentially... We are All Stewards of Planet Earth... and what we do on the Local Level can have the Greatest Impact.

Political Candidates and Career Politicians Should Be More Concerned about Thoroughly Addressing The Issues of The Day... Rather than "Getting Elected". By telling us "What We Want To Hear"... they Insult Our Intelligence and Compromise Their Own Integrity. They are More Concerned with being "Politically Correct" than in Getting to The Truth and Exposing Injustice.

I Believe that People Want to Know What Their Representative Really Think and Feel. I also Believe They Hold Honesty and Integrity Above Their Particular "Evaluations" of a Politician's Opinions and Views. Rarely do We Agree or Disagree Totally with Anyone... especially a Politician. But if We Can Believe In Their "Intent" and Their Sincerity and Their Honesty... then We Can Feel Some Assurance that They Will Basically Do The Right Thing... when Push Comes to Shove!

Being Concerned With... and Actively Discussing World and National Issues... is Important in Focusing and Better Defining The Issues that Effect Us on a Local Level. Indeed, many times they are One and The Same Thing. Working Toward "Ideal Examples" as Individuals and as Communities is an Important and Relevant Ingredient in Growing a Dynamic and Influential City.

"Shooting for The Stars" has a Consequence In And Of Itself! Rarely does One Completely Achieve Their Ultimate Goals... but They Go Much Farther than if They Had Not Made Them in The First Place... or If They Had Not Had any Grand Goals at All!

We Might Not Make It to Alpha Centauri... but It Is Important That We Give it One Hell of a Try!!!   :)
