Introduction

My main purpose of running for Mayor... is to Help Cairo Define Itself as a Community... and also Define Its City Government to Better Serve The Cairo Community... both Individually and Collectively. I will Provide Opportunities for More Integrity and Responsibility from City Government and all Those Directly and/or Indirectly Involved with The City of Cairo.

Also, I Intend to effect National Politics on a Local Level. I feel that many of The "Problems" of Government today can be Solved at The Grass Roots Level. It's like "Cells" in The Body... if there is not Essential Cellular Health, then The Whole Body Suffers. Cancer of The Body can be used as an Analogous Example for Cancer of The Various Systems of Government and Society... including The Institutions of Education, Religion and Business. As Individuals and as a Community... we have to take more Initiative and Responsibility in The Health and Growth of Our Town... Its Institutions, Its Businesses, Its Government... and "Yes", Its Citizens. One of The Responsibilities and Challenges of Government is to Give Its Citizens both The Opportunities to Grow as Individuals and as Integral Parts of a Nation... on All Levels. To Sum it Up... We have to All take a Part in "Empowering" The Individual... so that They can better Forge Their Own Destiny... for Themselves and Their Children.

As Mayor... I will Serve The Community on a "Full Time" Basis. I cannot see approaching the many Political and Community Challenges and Issues confronting Cairo on a "Part Time" Schedule. Desperate Times demand Desperate Measures. And while we are more in a "Critical" Stage than a "Desperate" One... We still need to be making The Most of what Time and Energy and Resources we have at Our Disposal. I will be Expecting The Same Commitment from All of Our Elected Official!
