Goals

Independence

As a City... it is Vital That We Are Independent!

The Stronger and More Independent We Are... in All Areas... The More We can Offer The City and Its Citizens... and The Entire Region.

The Good News is... "We Have Potential"! That has never been a point of argument! The "Problem"... is We have never Actualized That Potential. Historically, We have had Poor Leadership and No Vision!

While there are Many Kinds of Independence... and We Need to be Concerned with Them All... The City Government has as one of Its Main Concerns... Economic Sustainability and Growth. In this Area of Independence... We are Very Weak.

In The "Details"... it can get a little Complicated. But... from a General Perspective... it is Rather Simple. Basically, just like a Family, there has to be more "Income" than "Outgo". The Greater The Income to Outgo Ratio... The better.

So... Where is Our "Income"... and Where is Our "Outgo"?

Also... How are We "Investing" The Money that We Do Have? Are We Investing "Creatively" and "Wisely"?

As a Citizen... You Should Be Very Concerned with The Flow of Monetary Assets in Cairo... Not Only with City Revenue but also with Money Paid to Business in Cairo. Does it "Stay" here in Town to be "Reinvested"... or does it Go "Out" of The City and Area to Benefit Other Towns and Areas???

Obviously, We Need More Employment in Cairo. That would Generate More "Income" for both The Citizens and The City. The more that Money Flows "Into" The Town... regardless of source... The Better.

What We Need to Critically Look At though is... Where are The "Siphons"... The Companies that Redirect Money From Cairo and Its Citizens... and Send It "Out" of Town? Further... how can We Keep that Money "In Cairo"???

We need to Examine Each Business and Industry and Government Entity in Cairo... and try to Work With It in an Effort to Help Keep Monetary Assets in Cairo.

Overall... We Need to "Bring Money Into Cairo... and Keep It Here"!
