Informally... I probably understand Essential "Politics" better than most Politicians. Or... let me put that another way... I understand The Abstract Ethical and Constitutional "Purpose" and "Intent" of Politics better than Most Politicians. And Most Importantly... I still Believe In The Concept and Value of Democracy and Freedom and Responsible Government.

Politically... I believe the Essential Purpose of Government is to Serve The Essential Interest and Welfare of The Citizens. And I think in that respect... Contemporary Government is Failing Us Miserably. Rather... Government is Increasingly Serving The Interests of The Corporation over that of Its People. Sad but True...

Have You ever asked The Question: "Why do we have to Fight So Hard with Government... for The Things They Should Be Fighting Fearlessly for Us in The First Place"? Does it Really Have to Be That Way? Can it be Justified? Think of all The Time and Energy and Money that could have been directed to Solving "Real Problems" and Ensuring a Solid Foundation and Future for America? Hell, we could have Paid Off The National Debt with The Money The Republicans and Democrats have Wasted in Their Senseless Power Struggles for Political Supremacy on Capital Hill. It's Insane... and Any Politically Responsible Republican or Democrat will tell you the same thing.

Think it is any different on The Local Level...  here in Cairo? If you have been Paying Attention... You Know It Is Not.

Is it So Hard to Find a Common Ground... and Put The People and Town's Interest above Business and Politics... and The Sometimes Petty Power Struggles of Groups and Selfish Individuals???

Public Servants... Serve The Public! It's Really That Simple!

There is No Reason that The Citizens of Cairo should let this Situation Continue... and You Can Change It with Your Vote.

Together... We Can Make a Difference!
